To all mothers, grandmothers, adopted mothers, pet mothers and mothers of resin kids, a very happy Mother’s Day!
In other news, Ara has claimed the overall set that Mom had bought when she had ordered another doll a year back. He was the same size as Ara and it’s a good thing she bought it because now he has something different to wear. She’s working on sizing him for crocheted clothes. That’s going to be fun.
Mom got a new doll, so I guess I have a brother. His name is Aravinda. It’s Hindi for lotus.
Here he is:
Mom took us outside to take pictures, so she decided to take a new family portrait.
Aren’t we all adorable?
So we put up the tree yesterday. Mom is still waiting for her order of light clips so we can get the lights up. We took some pictures of the unpacking of the ornaments but not many. There are probably more to come, so that’s something to look forward to. Have a pic:
So the Christmas season has started and I changed my theme to fit the season. My desktop is filled with light gadgets and falling snow! I love this season. Christmas is always filled with love and cookies. Especially cookies. Mom loves baking all kinds and usually the house will smell so good because of all the sugar, chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies! Mom says she wants to try homemade gingerbread this year. I can’t wait! I’m making all of my gifts this year except for Tiny Betsy’s which I got a while ago. I just have to wrap it. We’re putting the tree up tomorrow. Usually we put it up the day after Thanksgiving. I don’t know why it hasn’t been done yet. Anyway, not much else to write, so I’ll see if Mom will take some pictures tomorrow so I can post them. Until then!
Mom decided to do a photoshoot so she could take pictures of my costume for Nightmare Night. I was a yokai. If you don’t know what that is, go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yokai On with the pics!
